These cars if bought even with the discounts are a bad idea. You would be way upside down as soon as you leave the driveway. I am surprised this was not addressed.

A vehicle inflated by 15-20% with a 10 or 12% discount is still inflated. It's a step in the right direction, but trucks are still a dumb level of expensive

You guys really need to just tell us the msrp and discount. The percent is deceiving and gives no picture of actual discount.

All the percentages off you listed are still not enough to make them worth buying. They need to be discounts by 20% or more.

I’m retired, and I love UA-cam . I just saw another video blog about American full-size pick up trucks. They are insanely priced ranging between $75,000 and $114,000…… That is stupid pricing.

Just remember that some of these discounts are off of MSRP which is already inflated. You have to do your research and really determine what the best price is using the advice you have given in the past. Some of these vehicles are problem children and I wouldn’t give them away to my worst enemy. This isn’t to mitigate any advice you’re giving. It’s just that you have to look at the full picture.

Got to dealership. Get the best possible deal based on your research and budget. Hand cash to dealer. Else, walk away. Simple.

The problem is the dealership (Stealership) will not cooperate. Try to get them to provide an OTD price via email and see what happens. You will be ignored or coerced into coming into the dealership. They will not cooperate in the least.

Since vehicles are SO absolutely expensive, I am looking into leasing. Can you all do a video on the best lease deals out there right now? I would consider leasing a brand I would never buy (Stellantis or nissan) if I could get a good lease deal.

Navigator is over 100k... so perhaps do the price and then do the % discount so people see the full picture. The discount is deceiving and only gives people half of the picture. People, if you want low prices, stop buying and they will be forced to drop prices. Those discounts are off a 30 to 40% increase of MSRPs. Be smart or... stay poor and complain about it. Ok going back to drinking my coffee with my pinky up while enjoying retirement at 45. 😂

If the dealership doesn’t have your car but there’s a dealership an hour away that you cannot go to for whatever reason, what kind of delivery fee should we except if any at all?

How is there a video about all the fees that they try to tack on, especially with new cars, what you do and don’t need and how to get rid of them?

Typically, does the dealer have any input on what items are on cars they receive from the manufacturer or are those all on the manufacturer?

You've mentioned addendums for worthless expensive extra items the dealer installs but what about extra items installed by the manufacturer and typically over priced; floor mats, door edge guards, wheel locks, etc? Can those items be refused and the OTD price reduced accordingly? Thanks.

So do you as a buyer, just cross out all of these fees? And if they say “but we have to charge you that fee”, that’s a lie?

Even if I get an email from one of my utilities or something, saying my bill is due, or whatever, and I'm 99% sure it's legit, I never click the link in that email. I'll just go to their website and login to my account separately. Is it overkill? Maybe. But I'd rather not get caught that 1 time it isn't legit.

You can save lots of money for a new car by going on the internet and checking around. You might have to travel to another state and drive the car back, but what you save will be worth it. For repairs you should never go to a dealership. They have lots of overhead and the money has to come from somewhere. The very best place for repairs is one of those guys who has his own repair shop. Best if you can find one with a good reputation. In general those guys will treat you right because they make their money on repeat business. Also they love working on cars. They're also the best place to buy a used car.

When do you tell them you're putting cash down on part of it? After they've ran your credit and gave you a breakdown, or before they run your credit?

I'm an auto mechanic in central Texas and our local dealerships have been affected. We often use OE parts from the dealerships and it's been taking 2-3 days to get parts they have in stock because they have to manually do the paperwork. As an added note, aftermarket parts have begun failing at a much higher rate than I'm used to. I've been a mechanic for over 30 years and it's normal to get a bad part here and there but now it's getting close to 50% on aftermarket remanufactured or even new parts. Don't think that any of this is a mistake or a fluke, this is all part of a much larger plan.

My Mazda 3 is now 10 years old and I'd planned to get a new CX-5 sometime this year (something easier to get in and out of in my old age). But all the extra safety/emissions stuff really turned me against the idea. But now I see that Mazda has stopped putting Awful Start/Stop and cylinder deactivation on the 2024 CX-5's, so once again it makes me think of getting a new one. Still, my old Mazda 3 has never had a single problem and gets over 40 mpg, hate to get rid of it. I continue to struggle over what to do, prayers appreciated.

I am particularly interested in knowing if you still offer the Mannheim wholesale purchasing service that you advertised about 4 months ago in a video. I am a subscriber but have been waiting till July 2024 to purchase an SUV with 3rd row seating for my wife. We have several grandchildren and she’s always running them to church, ballgames, and back and forth from our home.

Just today, less than 12 hours ago, I was at a dealer talking about a used car at their other location. The sales manager talked about this cyberattack, (it sounded like ransomware to me), and how they are currently having problems with different aspects of their business. They can't check availability at other dealers without doing actual phone calls for example. But it's also messing with their ability to make appointments I hadn't seen anything about it until I just came on YT 15 minutes ago and saw the headline. So it's actually not targeting dealers directly, but the software that so many of them use. I will follow the story with interest to say the least.
